Why Verify Your Identity

Bugbop uses Stripe Identity to verify the identity of Bug Hunters for the following reasons:

Access to Restricted Bug Bounty Programs that require identified researchers
Receiving Payouts via bank transfer for your Bug Bounties
Building trust and credibility with Program owners

Your personal information is stored securely in Stripe. For details on how we handle your data and when we may release it, please review our app terms.

How It Works

To complete your identity verification:

Go to your Profile page
Click on Details in the navigation
Follow the prompts to complete the verification process with Stripe Identity

Note: The verification process typically takes just a few minutes. You'll need a government-issued ID and may be asked to take a selfie.

Verification Status

Once your identity is successfully verified, your public profile will display "Identity Verified". This helps build trust when you're participating in Programs.
